Some people are ridiculous with their prices

I made a comment awhile back on another thread about how some people always look for the best deal when they are shopping, but turn around and ask insane prices when they sell something. No, it isnt worth "what you can get out of it". Everything, and I mean everything.... has a market value. Around here, there are a LOT of people with used jon boats (lots of small rivers with tin/jet owners) who evidently think they bought a glass Ranger they bought their tin rigs. Here is one example... this guy has a jon boat... I mean a jon boat... no bass conversion.... its a jon boat with a front and rear deck, a TM, an outboard, and a gigging rail... thats it. The boat will be TEN YEARS old shortly, and the outboard almost FIFTEEN years old. The guy is asking almost $10K, and says he is firm on price. $16K - 17K will buy this boat new here right this minute. You can damn near buy the same size (18') in a glass boat around that year. A jon boat setup holding 60% of its original value? I may have to start buying and flipping jon boats :Rolling::Rolling:
