Sunblock, do you wear it?

    If you don't take my advise and start wearing it.

    My wife had a tiny knot come up on her nose in 2006, she got concerned about it when it would bleed when she touched it. She went to a dermatologist and he confirmed it was Basal Cell Carcinoma a form of skin cancer. It's not life threatening but it can be disfiguring if left untreated. The doctor removed it by means of minor sugery and it left her with a small scar that she was a little self conscious about but nothing real bad.

    Last week she went back to the doctor just for a check up and found out that the cancer is back on her nose and now also her neck. They are talking about a major surgery to remove the cancer followed by reconstructive surgery. She is scared to death she is going to be disfigured for life now.

    Being a natural blond she is very fair skinned and used to spend a lot of time laying out in the sun and in tanning beds. She is paying the price now that she is 40 years old, which is still young to have these kind of problems.

    The dermatologist told her it could have all been avoided by just wearing sunblock, so if your not using it you should be.
