The World Lost A Good Man Today

    Nebguy Awesome Eric!!

    With much regret, I must inform you guys that my good friend Scott has passed away peacefully today with his family at his side. Scott was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer last year and was given a year (give or take) to live. Initially, he responded great to treatment. I don't know how optimistic his doctors ever were, but on the outside, he looked healthy and hardy.
    When we moved out here last summer, he looked good. Sadly, it didn't last and in the past month or so his health declined rapidly. A couple of weeks ago, his doctors advised him to discontinue treatment and make his peace, as he only had about a month left.
    Despite being doped up, he was in terrible pain and last night, prayed for the Lord to take him. At that time, his brave young daughter told him that it was ok for him to go. Scott passed away a few hours later.
    He lived a full life in his brief 32 years on this earth. He was a good friend, a good husband, and a great father who worked hard to support his young family. In the end, what else is there?
    Rest in Peace Scott.
