Virgin Islands?

    No, you perverts! This thread isn't what most of you guys are probably thinking.
    I'm not going to list all the specifics here, but Mrs. Nebguy has been offered a new job...... in St. Thomas, USVI.
    The pay is substantial, but so is the cost of living there. I had an over the phone interview for a meat cutting job down there and they're going to call tomorrow to set up a skype interview this week.
    There's lots of pros and cons to this venture. One of the biggest pros is that we'd still be in America. No crazy rules or red tape. Lots of mainlanders there, but is 89% native. Private schools/home schooling is a must. Violent crime is on the rise there, gangs are taking over and drugs are a problem (just like any US city). We'd get a housing allowance for the first 60 days, time for us to find our own place. Problem there is that we'd have to rent a place that accepts dogs, or leave them here. Also, we'd have to sell our house, which is a huge hassle in itself. What do you guys think? I'm sure it's not the tropical paradise that the tourists see, but at least it's not Nebraska!
