Thr troops coming home today are treated with respect mainly because of the lack of the same for Viet Nam vets.I've gotten many welcome home's and warrior hugs from brothers and other vets but NEVER in my 65 years has a civilian said those words to me. I waited till about a month ago. I was shopping in NH when a younger lady walked up to me and said " thank you and welcome home " and gave me a big hug.I tried to say thank you but the lump in my throay held it back. Those were the nicest words anyone has ever said to me. This morning my new neighbor a widow said thank you and " I'd never spit on you " There's quite a few Nam vets here so I imagine we'll have a few  together.By co-incidence we live 4 houses up the street from where we buily years ago. The old house was purchased by a retired master sarge Green Beret. I stopped by to see him a couple weeks ago and found out he had a heart attack a couple months ago and died.OK, that's it ! 2 serious posts in 2 days from me. Back to clowning around:patriot:
